For a quick and healthy breakfast a smoothie probably comes to mind. I LOVE smoothies, but for my kids smoothies are a sidekick to the main breakfast meal. It’s my fault for spoiling them with big morning meals. But with the morning rush I don’t always have time for a big spread. To save my sanity I need another quick go to crowd pleasing breakfast meal and parfaits are the winner. I sneak in a little extra oatmeal or chia seeds with the granola, pick a great tasting vanilla yogurt and hype the flavor with Wyman’s of Maine frozen fruit. We used the mixed berry bag with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and rasberries.
This deliciousness is so easy! You can use a fancy glass or keep it simple with a small bowl. Add a heaping spoon of granola, a teaspoon of rolled oats, top with vanilla yogurt, add Wayman’s of Maine mixed berries and repeat 3 more times and top with Wayman’s of Maine mixed berries…that’s it! For best results make it before you go to bed and it will be ready to devour in the morning.
As you can see it’s guaranteed yum…
